Sketches in Thyme #117

Welcome to my next post for Sketches in Thyme.

Today sees the sketch #117 go live on the blog. The Team B Mavens have done an awesome job with this sketch. If you haven't been over to Sketches in Thyme click on this link to head on over and see the awesome work the girls have done.

For my layout, I have again focussed on a photo to add to Brayden's baby album (remember I am running very behind with his baby album).

Have you ever scrapped photos that are not sensational? That the quality is pixelated or a little out of focus??
Well, I have tackled that challenge with this sketch.
8 1/2 years ago we didn't own a good DSLR. We actually used my hubby's camera from work which took 3 1/2 inch floppy disks. Obviously the quality of the photos were not great!
However, these are the photos we have to remember all of the special occasions, meetings and times during Brayden's first few years...so they must be scrapped.

This photo was taken when my Nan, aunty and uncle arrived at the hospital, unannounced after driving all the way from Sydney...a 7 hour trip to meet our new baby boy!
The four generations of the family...Nan, my Mum, myself and Brayden.

Here is the sketch from Sketches in Thyme...

Here is my layout...

I have used the Graphic 45 Secret Garden collection together with the newsprint from Stampin' Up.
I have used Thickers for my title and have used some Kaisercraft Pearls.

Here is a close up...
