Mel's Me Time

There is nothing like entering a competition right at the last minute! I feel like I am back at school sitting up to all hours getting an essay finished to hand in in the morning......but........this is so much more fun! I have just completed my interpretation of the March Sketch from the Scrapbookit Blog I am not totally sure about working with sketches however I believe you interpret and create the layout bearing some resemblance to the sketch. I could be totally wrong and there may be heaps of unwritten rules but I have had a go anyway. Hey.....I have completed yet another layout for the album and I like it....I think that is the most important. Nearly one month........since I last posted something here. I am so slack. The last post Feb 22 was seriously the last lot of scrapbooking I had done until last Friday night. Two gorgeous ladies, Liz and Cheryl, and I got together for a wonderful night of fun and plenty of scrapping (that was once we caught up on the gossip in each others lives!) I was very keen to complete a layout for Anna's Craft Cupboard Sketch of the Month competition. To my amazement, I actually got it complete.....well just the Kindy Glitz had to go on at home. Very excitedly I uploaded it to the gallery and now wait and see if I am the random winner. Fingers crossed! The layout is of my gorgeous friend, Nikki and I at the Scrapbookit 2008 Retreat.
