Hey everyone! How exciting…it is December!! Christmas is just around the corner. Are you ready? Have you got the decorations up yet? Finished the Christmas shopping? I’m part way through…but it is creeping up quickly so I had better get a wriggle on!!! Today I have created a Christmas layout to get us all in the mood for the festive season. I have used one of the cut files from the 25 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar . It is called Christmas Polaroid. Sketches in Thyme #122

Image
It is very exciting that Sketches in Thyme is up and running again. After it finishing up last year I noticed that completed layouts of my son, especially when he was a baby, had diminished.  So my task of using the sketches from the Sketches in Thyme blog to complete only photos of my son has just started again. Christmas In July

Image
I don't know whether the thought of Christmas in July got me inspired to complete this project, that really should have been done before last Christmas, but hey it is better late than never! I just love the Kaiser wooden off the page projects.....this is the Advent Calendar. I used the beautiful Kaiser Countdown range of papers....some paint, Mod Podge, Kaiser Christmas Rub ons, some Dimensional Magic and what Chrissy project is complete without some Kindy Glitz. Check it out...I'm really happy with the results! The Christmas Tree ~ I used the technique that my beautiful friend Nikki has used once before. I used strips of paper, some crinkle cut scissors and layered them up the tree. It gives the tree a little bit of dimension to it!!! Until next time, Melxx
